is investing in deadlift bars worth it?

Considering picking up a deadlift bar. My grip is becoming the limiting factor because it is too thick for hook grip on my current Titan bar, which is 30mm. Though I'm open to other options, I've had my eye on the Ohio Deadlift Bar.

Is there anyone here with a DL bar? Is the thinner diameter and different whip worth it? I'd like to know what you're running and how it feels.

I've heard the Ohio Deadlift Bar's thinner diameter really helps grip and hook grip comfort. Its whip is great for smooth lifts, so if grip's your limit, it's worth trying

What kind of lifting are you focusing on, competition-style pulls or more general strength work? That might help decide if the whip and thinner grip are really worth the upgrade

Yeah, plus the extra bend in the bar can also give you a boost when you're pulling heavy. If you're really into deadlifting, check this out
